For Music categories, you can submit a recent performance link, or record one afresh simply using a phone or camera. There is no specific time limit for the duration of the performance link but we would encourage you to submit one within 3-5 minutes. If the video is longer, please specify a 5-minute (continuous) time in the link that showcases the best of your ability. Please make sure that the video is not shaky. You are free to use any accompaniment of your choice, but at the bare minimum an electronic tanpura for Carnatic vocalists and instrumentalists, and an electronic tanpura plus i-tabla for Hindustani vocalists and instrumentalists is mandatory. Please send an unprocessed audio or video.
For Dance categories, video is a must with the person clearly visible in the video. You can record video simply using a phone or camera. It can be in practice clothes, it does not have to be in full costume. Pre-recorded videos and live stage performance videos such as arangetrams, professionally produced and edited videos are not allowed. The submission must be recorded specifically for the IndianRaga Fellowship. The duration of the video should be around 3-5 minutes showcasing both nritta and abhinaya in the same performance. Don’t stitch two pieces together. If the video is longer, please specify a 5-minute (continuous) time in the link that showcases the best of your ability.
