Application: Apply as an individual to get evaluated
Collaboration: Collaborate with mentor to structure a piece
Audio: We record audio and get it mixed (for music groups)
Video: We produce video and get it edited
Release: Release on Raga Labs channel

There is no application fee if you form your own group of 4-6 and join as a unit. We strongly encourage artists to form groups before joining so that they can get started right away, and work with a group that they have a good rapport with.

If you are unable to do so, you have to apply as an individual and once you are selected we provide information about others who are selected. You have to then connect with them on your own and form a group. The fixed fee for this process is as indicated on the right.

Each participant needs to apply separately

Each group should comprise of minimum of four musicians or four dancers and a maximum of 6. The total group fee remains unchanged. We have broken up fee for each artist for a typical six-member team for your understanding. With less artists, individual fees will increase on a pro-rata basis.

Program Fee for Music Raga Jam includes Collaboration (4 sessions with a Mentor), Audio/Video Recordings and Post Production and Release and Promotion on our social media channels. For Dance Raga Jam, Audio is not included.

The Fee mentioned is for outdoor shoot for a Regular Raga Jam. If it is indoor or a premium one, there will be additional cost. Approval by our Creative panel is a must at every stage.

Raga Jam kick off with the collaboration stage. Under a Raga Jam mentor, your team brainstorms ideas, puts together a structure to your music or dance piece, refines it to make it unique and interesting, and gets ready for production. The basic package includes 4 sessions of mentor ship, but you can add on more if you need more help at an additional fee.

Raga Jam work best if you can form a team of 4-6 like-minded peers to work with. If you cannot, we will help you but it takes at least a few weeks since it depends on when others apply.

Music teams will be taken to a professional audio studio in their city and guided through audio recording for their piece. The basic package includes 4 hours in the studio including setup time, but teams can purchase additional hours if they need. Raga Jam team will get it professionally mixed and mastered.

This stage is not there for dance teams since they will be performing to existing music.

After the audio is ready, the team can decide a video shoot date. Raga Jam will schedule the same with a professional videographer in your city. The basic package comes with 2-3 hours of videography in an outdoor location. Teams can choose to add on hours or additional services for a more elaborate set. Teams must bring their own makeup and costumes.

The Fee mentioned for a Regular Raga Jam is for an outdoor shoot where the venue is free of cost. If it is indoor or a premium one, there will be an additional cost that the team must carry. Approval by our Creative panel is a must at every stage

After the shoot, Raga Jam team will get the video professionally edited.

Once the video is ready, our panel will review and see its suitability for release. If the quality of the content (not production) meets our artistic standards, the video will be released on Raga Labs, otherwise the team will be given the video and they can decide to release on their own. Raga Labs branding templates will be added for release on our channel.

You can also approach us with your edited video for release on our channel. We will verify it and if found suitable, will release it at a fee.
