Instructors: Sharada Krishnan (violinist) and Souryadeep Bhattacharyya (Sarod player). Sharada and Souryadeep are both 2014 IndianRaga Fellows.
Sharada and Souryadeep teach the basics of collaborations between the Hindustani and Carnatic musicians. They walk us through the process of structuring the piece along with choosing a suitable Raga and Taala that is common to both styles. The course concludes with a beautiful demonstration piece that they play in Raga Vrindavani Sarang.
